“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference” ~ Robert Frost

You are a work of art. No, really you are. Have you heard the saying, “God does not make junk?” No matter what others have said to you, no matter what struggles you have gone through you are the masterpiece that is to be loved. But a masterpiece does not become a priceless work of art without passion. Where has your passion gone? Have you honestly let others bring you down so low that your daily routine is not full of inspiration but survival? Going from one day to the next is like the mind of a soldier. Are you at war? No, you did not receive a letter of conscription, yet you have conscripted yourself to a life of allowing others to dictate your truth.

Brush off those talents! Staying in the same routine has not helped you in the past, so it’s good to try something different. All masterpieces need retouching every few years so it’s time to rejuvenate your painting. Don’t feel bad; get excited about your new path. Get involved with hobbies or interests that you have always wanted to try. By the way, do not feel upset if you are renewing yourself later in life. We all know the older the masterpiece the greater it’s worth. So rejuvenation will actually increase your value!

Since life is a journey, we may never reach an epitome of consciousness. We are a constant evolution of consciousness. Enjoy the journey. Embrace the learning process and never fear the climb. Once your masterpiece is up for public display again realize the auction means nothing. You are an original work of art; a concept never explored before. In the end, everyone who understands an art form will embrace you. Do not get discouraged if some do not appreciate your beauty. The greatest artists are always years ahead of the rest! Heal the artist within you and take the road less traveled.
