Revitalize Your Relationship With God

For many people living in a fast paced society, a relationship with God is on a part-time basis. Busy with our day-to-day lives, God takes a back burner to common problems and tasks.

It has always been bizarre that in general people ask God to take a backseat, to stay out of our problems, politics, and issues. However, once disaster, war or any upheaval occurs, the question arises: “Where is God? Why would God let this happen?” In general, people only ask for God when they need God.

“People see God every day, they just don’t recognize him.” ~ Pearl Bailey

By rekindling our relationship with God, we open ourselves to a new level of prayer and meditation. By opening a channel of communication with God, we can work through our questions and problems.

“Prayer is when you talk to God; meditation is when you listen to God.”  ~ Diana Robinson

Many people feel so alone through out life. Friends, peers and even family may come and go. Relationships grow, relationships can be severed. However, the only relationship we can sustain from the beginning of our life to the end is with God. To cut off this natural right of communication leaves some people left lost and alone.

God’s relationship is the strongest one we will have through out our lives and the easiest to reconcile when we have strayed. Opening the channel of communication with God gives us a precious gift, giving us guidance through prayer.
