Actively Build the Relationship

I was recently led to listen to a song entitled “I Miss You” on Perfect Peace: The Gillian Grannum Project. In the song, Jesus states that the person is “running around” actively doing things “for” Jesus, yet the person is not taking time to be with Jesus. The person is not taking the time to Actively Build the Relationship. As I listened to the message, I was reminded of the importance of releasing what we “think” we should be doing and instead focus on what we know we are supposed to do… Actively Build the Relationship.

Many years ago, I was taught this lesson in a conversation. The person was saying that they had to learn to discern between what was “Godly” and what was “God-led”. They described how they had filled up their life with participation in activities, joining committees, having relationships, etc. because they were “doing the ‘Godly’ thing”; however, once they began to focus on their Godly relationship, they were able to discern the difference between what they had perceived to be “Godly” actions, activities, and relationships and the knowing of what were actually “God-led” actions, activities, and relationships.

So during this time of Releasing by the Spirit, I encourage you to release your “perceptions” and tune into the “knowing” that comes from Actively Building a Relationship with Spirit.

God Bless and continue to Live By the Spirit.
