Repetitive Messages

A few years ago I signed up to receive daily inspirational statements.  Every morning, when I check my email, there is a dose of daily inspiration waiting for me.  Today was the first time in almost 3 years that there were two inspirational messages from the same company.  Thinking this was odd; I opened and read the first message.  I then opened the second email and to my amusement…it said the same as the first.  I instantly knew that this was a message that I was to heed and that Spirit was Speaking.

It is common for me to receive repetitive messages when I am to “pay attention” to what Spirit is saying.  The repetitive message that I received this morning was a quote by Vincent van Gogh “Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together.”  This was just the inspirational message and reminder that I needed!

Throughout the last couple of months, I have been really focusing on the concept of planting/sowing and the patience involved in this process.  It is difficult sometimes to be patient and I often forget that life is a process.  My mother used to say, “I am in the process of becoming.”  As a child, I would ask, “becoming what?”  She would smile and say, “becoming.”  As an adult, I now understand that she was open to the journey and the process of life.

As I await “the manifestation of great things that have been brought together by a series of small things,” I encourage you to pay attention to repetitive messages … and discern if Spirit is speaking to you.

God Bless and continue to Live By the Spirit.
