Strengthen Your Talents

A few weeks ago, I encouraged you to “Open Up & Gift the World with Your Talents.”  In the past week, I was reminded of the importance of nurturing and strengthening your talents. Like our physical muscles that we workout in various ways, we need to “workout our talents” and them give them time and attention so that they can be strengthened as well.

As a clinician, I encourage people to explore and use their talents. Some talents come easily while others take years to develop.  Regardless of the amount of time, spending time nurturing your talents is the key.  By using your talents, you are increasing your sense and understanding of self, strengthening your self-esteem,  and “gifting the world.”  As we know, there is a time for all things.  So as we enter this month of being Nurtured By The Spirit, I encourage to be clear on what talents you are to share and strengthen at this time in your life.

Here are some questions that may be helpful:

  1. What talents are you using/sharing?
  2. What talents have you left “untouched” and need to explore?
  3. What needs to be done to strengthen these talents?
  4. What talents do you possess that could be a help/healing to yourself, your family, your community, the world?

I encourage you to look for and respond to opportunities to share your talents as Spirit leads you. I look forward to hearing your stories of what talents you are discovering, sharing, and strengthening.

God Bless and Continue to Live By the Spirit.
