Two Important Words in Partnership

“If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is ‘thank you’, it will be enough.”

Meister Eckhart

The two most important words we can say to actively stimulate an intimate partnership with Spirit are simply: “Thank You.” To sincerely share thoughts, prayers and words of gratitude to the Creator is to create an abundance-producing cycle that permeates every part of our lives.

Say THANK YOU for the obvious blessings and the not-so-obvious occurrences, that although we cannot see, we know are happening on our behalf at all times.

Say THANK YOU in the midst of the “storm” or crisis, knowing surely that the challenge is making us stronger and our continued growth will be the outcome.

Say THANK YOU for the seeming small things that are actually BIG blessings in our everyday life…like breathing, aliveness and right-mindedness.

Say THANK YOU for all of the moments we take a step of faith and good favor is there to meet us.

Say THANK YOU for the times you make an erroneous decision, but the outcome is made right through divine correction.

Say THANK YOU for unanswered prayers and necessary detours.

Say THANK YOU for the gifts and talents that were given at birth, developed through life or continuously discovered.

Say THANK YOU for the people who have come into our lives, journeyed through moments of our lives and remain in our lives.

The list can go on and on and on…but today, the message is a simple reminder for you to practice your own form of daily gratitude as you continue to partner with Spirit.  It is the spirit of gratitude that in fact, activates Spirit in our lives and makes the cycle of partnership complete and unending.

  2. you are so right. yesterday i spoke to a good friend in nyc and she told me that while i am in nyc, she would like to take me to an esperanza spalding concert. i told her i appreciated the gesture but i am in the midst of finalizing possible job options in nyc or overseas and concert is just not part of the budget. she explained she just wanted to and i should just say thank you. so, i thanked her, the universe for having given me her and other such great friends, and despite all the chaos abound, there is freedom and peace in that gratitude.

also, amERICA, thank YOU for the awesome ‘how to get out of hell’ text and this post.
