Throughout the week, I was constantly reminded about the importance of being in partnership with Spirit.  True partnership!

In John 10:30, Jesus states, “I and the Father are one.” Many times it seems that people think that Jesus is the only one that had this direct connection with God, despite the countless stories of people regularly communicating and communing with God.  People are often heard making statements like “I’m not Jesus!”  This statement can be used as an “excuse” to stay within the limitations of humanity and not partner with or tap into that part of ourselves that is Greater than our physical self.

Part of my purpose in life is to help people reestablish an authentic and active relationship with God, with the Holy Spirit that dwells inside of each of us.  As a child, while some were running around saying, “I want to be like Mike”, I was thinking, “I want to be like Jesus!”

In John 14:10 – 17, Jesus says,

Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves. I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

These scriptures remind us that it is an ACTIVE partnership.  As noted in  “Shine:  Partnering with Spirit – Choosing Love Over Fear”, the co-creation between You and God and the alignment of your will with God’s Will makes a formidable union that is needless to say awe inspiring and Excellent.

Once you realize that your Greatest partnership starts with you, within you, then the next step is to allow the manifestation of that partnership to flow outside of you … it becomes inevitable and breathtakingly beautiful.  Remember Excellence is inside of you … Get to know you!!!

God Bless and continue to Live By The Spirit.
