As we prepare to shift into a new theme (TRANSFORM … By The Spirit™) I leave you with some final inspiration and encouragement on THRIVING spiritually.
Survival (having the basics) is okay (in fact essential) to pull yourself up, dust yourself off and to get yourself back on balance. To survive is to just “make it” over or through. Surviving is adequate; thriving is magnificent … in fact, THRIVING is divine!
THRIVING means you are living in the fullness of all that God created you to be. Only when we THRIVE can we have enough wisdom and energy and compassion to be used fully and completely by God to divine more love so that earth and all of humanity THRIVES.
“You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” Psalm 23:5b NIV
When our physical, emotional and spiritual cups are full, we are well and at peace. When our cup overflows we are acknowledging that we are anointed, that we are BLESSED in each and every moment. And from that space of gratitude about our own spiritual abundance we have more than enough to bless and encourage others to let their lights shine.
Abundance is not limited to financial resources or material things. They are certainly tools to be used but the type of abundance of which I speak is spiritual. Spiritual fruit.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Galatians 5:22 NIV
God, who is Love, waits patiently. And so does spiritual abundance. The Creator and divine abundance are always available, always present just waiting for us to open our arms and invite them in.
Open your arms so you are prepared to receive the divine love and abundance that awaits. Then ready yourself to be “transformed” into an empowered and divinely inspired messenger to pay forward more love and light in the world.
